This first passion project from director Josh Guffey has been in development for over a decade. It may not boast the biggest budget, but it shirked most tropes it seemed to be following, leaving me insecure and genuinely surprised in the end. I was fortunate to have an interview with Tony Todd, one of the stars and from film fame, horror or otherwise, who shares the sentiment that this is not to be overlooked:
“All Gone Wrong” explores an officer (played by who seeks to expose corruption that resulted in the death of a fresh-faced partner during a drug-bust. However, this is adapted from a true story of corruption associated with Kewanee, Illinois. Years of securing funding, developing a proof on concept, writing, and filming seem to have paid off and for any true crime or police procedural fans this is worth a watch and a step ahead.
