Week 4 of the NFL season kicks off with a battle of AFC North foes. The Steelers and Browns both come in off big wins, both sitting at 2-1, and both looking to take an early lead in the division. But there can be only one winner.
The Steelers’ offense has been a work-in-progress. It was practically non-existent in Week 2, but the team exploded for 30 points against the Bengals in Week 3. The Browns, meanwhile, got off to an ice-cold start in Jacksonville but Deshaun Watson has gotten it going in the past two weeks, both wins. This game could be a defensive struggle, or more of a shootout. But right now, I’m leaning toward a low-scoring slog.
For the Steelers, I like Jaylen Warren. He showed he was back on track last week, and I think he’s an RB2, especially with Rico Dowdle still banged up. I also have Aaron Rodgers as a low-end QB2. I think he’ll produce some, but it’s not like the old days. Among receivers, there is no one in whom I’m confident. Someone will have a decent game, but I’d rather not play receiver roulette on Thursday night.
For the Browns, Quinshon Judkins has struggled mightily. I am not trusting him to pull out of it here. He’s little more than a low-end flex. Watson has been better than expected, but he’s still a low-end TE2 for me. In the passing game, he’s had a connection with Denzel Boston, who is a flex option for me. But he’s really connected well with Harold Fannin, who is the Brown I’m most bullish on starting.
