I’m Charlie Walker hit select theaters and VOD Nationwide. I had the pleasure of sitting down with two of the stars of the film, Emma Caulfield Ford and Mark Leslie Ford
SYNOPSIS: Based on a true story, Mike Colter stars as trucking and construction entrepreneur Charlie Walker. In 1971, two oil tankers violently collided off the San Francisco Coast spilling millions of gallons of crude oil creating an environmental disaster.
When you watch the film, you can’t help but be enamored by Charlie Walker, the person. He was that entrepreneur before it was even a thing. However, Walker had to work twice as hard as anyone else because of the color of his skin. I was blown away by this story and Mike Colter’s performance as Charlie. After the film is over, you will walk away diving deeper into the fascinating story of Charlie.
I sat down with Emma Caulfield Ford and Mark Leslie Ford to ask them about what attracted them to work on the film, what it is like going to set together and if they would work together again in the future.
