The NFL Season is nearly upon us. The season kicks off on Wednesday, September 9. Between now and then, we’ll be previewing all 32 NFL Teams along with playoff picks. One team will be previewed each day, beginning with the Super Bowl-winning Seahawks and ending with the New York Jets. Check back each day for the next installment!

After several years on top in the AFC East, the Bills ceded the title to the New England Patriots in 2025. The team pushed hard but fell short to the Broncos in the Divisional Round. As a result, the Bills made changes, pushing out Head Coach Sean McDermott. Now, with Joe Brady at the helm, the Bills are looking to get back to the division title in 2026. Let’s dive in.

Off-Season Changes

In addition to parting ways with McDermott, the team saw some other players move on. Among them was veteran edge A.J. Epenesa, who left for the Eagles. The Bills also saw veteran safety Taylor Rapp and edge Joey Bosa depart, along with linebacker Shaq Thompson and cornerback Tre’Davious White. The team also saw long-time backup Mitch Trubisky move on to the Tennessee Titans.

In the draft, the Bills grabbed edge T.J. Parker, while they signed Bradley Chubb in free agency. The team also brought in C.J. Gardner-Johnson and corner Dee Alford. The team added center Lloyd Cushenberry and veteran backup quarterback Kyle Allen. But the biggest acquisition was receiver D.J. Moore, who was acquired in trade from the Bears. In his eight seasons he has 608 receptions for 8,213 yards and 41 touchdowns. He gives Josh Allen a No. 1 option he hasn’t had the past two seasons.

Fantasy Impact

Allen was QB1in 2025. He gives a team a strong passer and rushing upside. I like him as a high-end QB1 again. In the backfield, James Cook was RB5 in 2025. I think he’ll be a strong producer again, and I like him as an RB1.

In the passing game, Moore joins Khalil Shakir as the focus in the receiver room. I like Moore as a high-end WR2 that should lead the Bills’ receiver group. Shakir remains a solid part of the passing game and should be a WR3. At tight end, they have Dalton Kincaid and Dawson Knox. Kincaid has the highest upside, but I think he’s more of a high-end TE2 because of inconsistency.

Prediction

The Bills were 12-5 in 2025, only a game back of the Patriots. And come the playoffs, they felt like the more dangerous team. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them go back to first place in the AFC East. Either way, with Allen, they should be in the mix for the playoffs.
