The new summer blockbuster Masters of the Universe is in theaters on Friday. In honor of its release, this week’s binge focuses on previous films starring Nicholas Galitzine. Films appear in chronological order.

Purple Hearts (2022)
About: This is a Netflix romance film. He stars as a soldier opposite Sofia Carson. It’s an interesting and somewhat compelling drama.

Red, White & Royal Blue (2023)
About: This is another romance film, this time for Prime Video and based on the popular novel of the same name. Galitzine plays the lead opposite Taylor Zekhar Perez, who plays the son of the President of the United States. It’s an interesting film that was popular enough to earn an upcoming sequel.

The Idea of You (2024)
About: Another Prime Video feature, this one a May-December romance that pairs Galitzine’s pop star with Anne Hathaway’s single mother. They had good chemistry in a film that was a nice streaming romance.

100 Nights of Hero (2025)
About: This is an interesting drama that is based on the graphic novel. Here he plays the primary antagonist to a newly married woman (Maika Monroe) and her handmaid (Emma Corrin). It’s an interesting story and an interesting idea.

The Sheep Detectives (2026)
About: This film from Prime Video debuted in theaters on May 8. Galitzine plays a small, supporting role in this film that’s a mystery designed for audiences of all ages. His character has a fun twist and Galitzine does a nice job as part of a talented ensemble.
