The 2023 Academy Award nominations are a week away. Over the last few weeks, we’ve had the Golden Globes, SAG Nominations, and the Critics Choice Awards and have shifted many things across the board. Today, I share my final 2024 Oscars Predictions for the Best Actress category.

Best Actress Nominations

1. Lily Gladstone, Killers of the Flower Moon (Winner) (^)
2. Emma Stone, Poor Things (-)
3. Carey Mulligan, Maestro (↓)
4. Margot Robbie, Barbie (^)
5. Sandra Huller, Anatomy of a Fall (↓)

Outside look in: Fantasia Barrino (The Color Purple), Annette Bening (NYAD) and Greta Lee (Past Lives)

So my top 5 in the Best Actress category hasn’t moved at all. Lily Gladstone is still the frontrunner for me to take home the Oscar with Emma Stone fresh off her Critics Choice win hot on her heels. It will be interesting to see what direction SAG goes for the win as that certaintley could point us closer to the direction of who is winning Best Actress. Mulligan, Robbie and Huller are along for the ride here with not chance of an upset.
