We’ve made it to the end of the 2022 NFL Season. Throughout the playoffs I’ve done well, missing on only two of the 12 games so far. Now, we’re down to the final game and the pressure is on. Who will win? Below is my best guess.
The Chiefs and Eagles entered the post-season as the No. 1 seeds in each conference. After fighting their way through the playoffs, they ended up in the Super Bowl. A great matchup between teams that went 14-3 in the regular season, have aggressive defenses and great offenses built around young star quarterbacks. How will that translate to the field?
The Eagles have an aggressive and opportunistic defense. We saw that make a big difference in the NFC Championship Game. That will come into play for a Chiefs’ offense that is likely to be thin at receiver and with Patrick Mahomes still recovering from an ankle injury. On the other side, Jalen Hurts is still bouncing back from his shoulder injury, though he showed no signs of being slowed down against either the 49ers or Giants.
To me, this is two evenly matched teams. It’s going to come down to who makes mistakes or fails to convert. I’m hoping for a great game. At the end of the day, I’m going with my gut and the player I think was the 2022 NFL MVP—Jalen Hurts.
The Pick: The Eagles
