NFL Week 16 Picks & Predictions – Best Bets

We are reaching the end of the 2022 NFL season as we enter Week 16. There are so many games with playoff implications spread across four days this week. I take a look at my two favorite plays of the weekend.

Throughout the season, if you’ve listened to me on either the Fantasy Football Happy Hour or the Happy Hour Sports Betting Show, I’ve enjoyed a little success. I am hoping to close out the season with a bang.

I’ve looked at the board for Week 16 and honed in on two plays that I think will get us to the pay window this weekend. So let’s dive into the picks and why I liked them.

NFL Week 16 Picks & Predictions – Best Bets

Trevor Lawrence over 224.5 passing yards vs. New York Jets (-115 on DraftKings)

The case can be made against this pick as the Jets have been good against the pass this year, with opposing quarterbacks only throwing for an average of 194 yards per game. However, we are coming off a week where Jared Goff threw for over 250 yards, and Lawrence has eclipsed the mark in five out of his last six games. Look for Lawrence to continue that streak this week with the division/playoffs on the line for the Jaguars.

Las Vegas Raiders over 1.5 total touchdowns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (-180 on Draftkings)

Alright, the juice is a little heavy on this one being at -180, but this is one of the most insane bets of the weekend. The Raiders are road dogs, which, sure, I get, but a total team touchdown sitting at 1.5 is absurd to me. The Steelers have been playing good defense, but they’ve had an incredibly easy schedule. The Raiders will smash over this total (and I’ll be sprinkling some on the ML).

What are some of your favorite plays for Week 16 in the NFL?
