We’ve made it past Thanksgiving and as of today we’ve made it to December. We kick off the month, and the biggest stretch of the NFL Season, with a huge matchup in the AFC East. The Bills travel to battle the Patriots in a game that holds a lot of meaning for everyone involved. It could also impact your fantasy season, so let’s dive in.
The Patriots enter the week at 6-5 on the season, on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. The team gave its all on Thanksgiving but came up short against the Vikings. The Bills, meanwhile, come in tied atop the AFC East at 8-3. They also have a scenario where, if things break right, they could regain the No. 1 spot in the AFC. But all that starts with a win. It’s also crucial they win as two of the three Bills losses have come against AFC East opponents.
For fantasy, Josh Allen is a top quarterback option and Stefon Diggs is a Top 12 receiver. Gabe Davis is a WR3 with upside for me, while Dawson Knox has become more of a TE2. In the backfield, I still like Devin Singletary best. He’s a low-end RB2 for me.
For the Patriots, Damien Harris is out, which adds clarity. That makes Rhamondre Stevenson a solid RB2 for me, even in a tough matchup. He’s running well and catching the ball. Mac Jones is a low-end QB2 while I’m not confident of receiving options. If Jacobi Myers plays—he’s questionable—he’s the one I feel best about. But I’m not confident of any Patriots’ pass catchers.
Now, on to my Week 13 picks.
