The Subject is a new thought-provoking film from writer Chisa Hutchinson who provides us with a commentary that leaves you asking questions far after you’ve walked away from watching the movie. The Subject follows a white documentary filmmaker (Jason Biggs) as he is trying to overcome the fallout of his last film that caught the murder of a Black teen on tape. Director Lanie Zipoy remarkably takes this unbelievable script and brings it to life on the big screen.
