2022 Dance with Films Festival ‘The Critic’ Cast and Director Interview

The 2022 Dance with Films Festival is June 9-19. The Critic is one of the films that will debut at the festival.

Plot: A hotel Critic arrives as the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida. She’s expecting a quiet stay but instead meets a charming man who used to be a caddie at the hotel. He opens her eyes to a new way of seeing the world, but he’s harboring a secret of his own.

I had the opportunity to sit down with writer/director Frank Kelly as well as leads Julia Collier and Nick Puya to discuss the film, its inspiration and the message for audiences.
