Netflix’s Along For The Ride Movie Review

Today, I share my review of the upcoming Netflix movie, Along For The Ride. The movie is releasing on the streaming platform on Friday and continues their trend of adapting romantic-comedy novels (which I am enjoying). The film was written and directed by Sofia Alvarez who wrote and directed both To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before films.

RELEASE DATE: May 6, 2022

WRITTEN & DIRECTED BY: Sofia Alvarez
BASED ON THE BEST SELLING NOVEL BY: Sarah Dessen
CAST: Emma Pasarow, Belmont Cameli, Kate Bosworth, Dermot Mulroney, Andie MacDowell, Laura Kaiuki, Marcus Scribner, Genevieve Hannelius, Samia Finnerty, Ricardo Hurtado, Paul Karmiyran,
LOGLINE:  The summer before college Auden meets the mysterious Eli, a fellow insomniac. While the seaside town of Colby sleeps, the two embark on a nightly quest to help Auden experience the fun, carefree teen life she never knew she wanted.

The Verdict:

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Along for the Ride is the perfect film to get you in the mood for the upcoming summer.
