The second week of the NFL Season brings a full and intriguing slate to the Sunday schedule. There are some key matchups and some teams that are already feeling the pressure. There are 14 games on Sunday, giving us plenty of options. Below are the five games I like best on the Sunday slate.

Early Games:

Minnesota Vikings (1-0) at Chicago Bears (1-0)
About: Both these teams got big wins in Week 1. The Vikings came from behind to upset and dismantle the Green Bay Packers. The Bears, meanwhile, set an NFL record with 59 points. So, what I’m saying is there might not be a lot of defense in this one. Whichever team wins will get to 2-0 and could have a chance to take an early lead in the division. This should be a fun battle.

Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0) at New England Patriots (0-1)
About: Both these teams played ugly, low-scoring games in Week 1. For the Steelers that meant grinding out a home win against the Falcons No. 3 quarterback. For the Patriots, it was a second-half collapse and a loss to the Seahawks in Seattle. The Patriots will be without A.J. Brown going forward, creating yet another challenge. Can the Patriots get back in the win column, or will the Steelers roll to a 2-0 start under Mike McCarthy?

Late Games:

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-0) at Denver Broncos (0-1)
About: It was a tale of two games for these teams in Week 1. The Jaguars opened at home and pummeled the lowly Cleveland Browns, registering the week’s biggest blowout. The Broncos, meanwhile, were on the road and got clocked by the Chiefs. Now, the Jaguars are in Denver hoping for a repeat of last season’s December victory. The Broncos, meanwhile, have a short week to get things together and avoid an 0-2 hole.

Seattle Seahawks (1-0) at Arizona Cardinals (1-0)
About: The Seahawks were able to win on opening night despite losing Sam Darnold. He won’t be available in Week 2, either so it will be up to Drew Lock to carry the defending champions in Arizona. The Cardinals, meanwhile, managed to get an upset win over the Chargers in Week 1. A win here would have them off to a hot start for the season.

Sunday Night Football

Indianapolis Colts (0-1) at Kansas City Chiefs (1-0)
About: The Colts struggled in Week 1, getting trucked by the Baltimore Ravens. The Chiefs, meanwhile, welcomed back Patrick Mahomes and laid the smackdown on the Broncos, thanks in large part to the performance of Kenneth Walker. Now, the Colts are desperate to avoid an 0-2 start and head to Kansas City, which isn’t an easy place to play. The Chiefs will be looking to stay unbeaten and stretch a lead in the AFC West.
