On February 17, 2026, MVP Promotions shocked the world when they announced on Netflix that Ronda Rousey would return to the cage to take on Gina Carano for the streaming giant’s first MMA card. After days of talking about it, I stepped into the Inuit Dome and caught the big event. The night was filled with some incredible knockouts, including a main event that shocked the world.

The team at Netflix and MVP Promotions did an impressive job with this event in person. Throughout the week they did a gigantic buildup from the open workout to the press conference to the weigh-ins; it was great to be a part of such a monumental event. The night at the Inuit Dome was no different. It had a big fight feel to the show even during the preliminary card.
