It was the night before Christmas—no, no, no, no, it is the night before the biggest MMA card of 2026. Netflix and MVP Promotions have teamed up to deliver one of the biggest dream matches in MMA history: Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano. The entire card is stacked and kicks off at 6 PM ET, with the main card starting at 9 PM ET. Tonight was the weigh-in and the final time we would see the fighters before the fight. Below I share my predictions of the fight.
The hype all week has been tons of fun. From attending the press conference to strolling around town and seeing all the billboards and, of course, the weigh-ins, nothing is more exciting than the night before a big fight card. Some of the biggest names in the sport are battling it out on the biggest platform, Netflix. What makes the night even better is that we can enjoy the big card and make a little money.

Main Card (9 PM EST, Netflix)
Women’s featherweight: Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano
This is the cream of the crop here, and I believe that Rousey is going to win this fight. That said, I would love to see Carano put on a good show and at least get it to a second or third round.
Heavyweight: Francis Ngannou vs. Philipe Lins
Ngannou has thirty pounds on Lins, and this may end quickly. Give me Francis with a first-round KO.
Welterweight: Nate Diaz vs. Mike Perry
I have no clue what to expect here, but Mike Perry will probably win this fight. Perry will either win by decision or take Diaz out in round two. Pick your poison.
Featherweight: Salahdine Parnasse vs. Kenny Cross
Parnasse is fighting the US for the first time ever and has quite the battle with Kenny Cross. All four of Cross’s defeats have come via submission, give me Parnasse by submission.
Heavyweight: Junior dos Santos vs. Robelis Despaigne
Heavyweight bloodbath. Santos is a legend, but give me Despaigne to knock off the former champ.

Preliminary Card (6 PM EST, Netflix)
Welterweight: Namo Fazil vs. Jake Babian
The level of excitement for the fight is at a TEN after the press conference. These two kept going back and forth talking trash, and Fazil better back it up with a KO. 9-1 Fazil vs. 6-1 Babian, someone is going home with their second loss. Give me Fazil to cash the check his mouth was writing with a knockout.
Welterweight: Jason Jackson vs. Jeff Creighton
Jason Jackson is a BAD BOY! I teetered back and forth with how Jackson will win, but I’ll take Jackson by a KO.
Flyweight: Phumi Nkuta vs. Adriano Moraes
Phumi Nkuta took on this fight last night, and Moraes will have his hands full here. Nkuta is undefeated, and I look for him to continue that here by decision.
Featherweight: David Mgoyan vs. Albert Morales
Mgoyan is a heavy favorite for a reason; nothing here tells me otherwise. 8 wins, with 5 coming by KO, make it 6 after Saturday night.
130-pound catchweight: Aline Pereira vs. Jade Masson-Wong
Pereira is a massive favorite, and I was looking for an upset on this card. While Pereira’s name runs deep, give me Masson-Wong with an upset.
165-pound catchweight: Chris Avila vs. Brandon Jenkins
Two guys with over 17+ fights on each side of the cage. Give me Jenkins by decision.
