Week 11 of the NFL Season begins tonight and it begins with an interesting matchup on Thursday Night Football. The Titans haven’t always looked pretty, but the team has managed to win six games and sits in first place in the AFC South by a wide margin. The Packers, on the flip side, came into the season having won 13 games in each of the last three seasons. They stemmed the bleeding from a long losing streak with a win over the Cowboys in Week 10, but there’s still work to be done.
The Titans will be without a number of players on the defensive side, which should help the Packers’ offense as it tries to figure out the passing game. Both these teams want to run and we should see a strong dose of Derrick Henry for the Titans, Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon for the Packers. But what does it all mean for fantasy?
For the Titans, I’m starting Henry and that’s it. Brian Westbrook-Ikhine had a big Week 10, while Treylon Burks is back and Robert Woods is in the lineup. I don’t trust any of them and I would think you have better options than Ryan Tannehill, even with four teams on a bye.
For the Packers, I’m starting Jones. I also like Dillon as a flex play. Aaron Rodgers haven’t been incredible, but he’s a solid QB2 with upside, as we saw last week. In the passing game, Robert Tonyan is a TE2 and Allen Lazard is a WR3 for me. The big question is Christian Watson, who is a boom-or-bust WR4. Last week he boomed. Can he do it again? Perhaps, but it’s not without risk.
Now, on to the Week 11 picks.
