This seems indistinguishable to me from “2012” or “Independence Day: Resurgence” and it may or may not be a lot of fun. Directed by Roland Emmerich and written by Spenser Cohen, Roland Emmerich, and Harald Kloser, Lionsgate will release this in theaters February 4th, 2022.
