“The Spine of Night” Interview with Directors and Actor

It’s rare to see an independent animated film, particularly one aimed at an adult audience, in recent years. “In the Spine of Night,” aims to entertain on levels that are familiar but seemingly forgotten and original through the combination of fantasy, myth, and horror that all seem to come from the passions of the film’s directors, Morgan King and Phillip Gelatt. 

I had a great opportunity to speak with the directors and genre-film veteran Larry Fessenden, to talk about how they brought their vision to life and why you should try and see if this is a movie for you!

“In the Spine of Night” is available now on VOD and will be available on Blu-ray in February 2022 (Then streaming on Shudder in March 2022) featuring more short films from co-director Morgan King.
