It’s the most wonderful time of the year and I spend a lot of time watching Christmas movies, which can be brutal sometimes because there are some terrible ones. However, there are some amazing ones as well. So today, I want to share my all-time favorite Christmas movies with you.
- Jingle All the Way
I can’t tell you how many times I have watched this movie. As a kid, I loved it, and as an adult, I loved it, and I loved the fact I was able to take my daughter to catch this one on the big screen on a re-release. Arnold and Sinbad are a killer combo that makes for a funny Christmas movie.
- Last Christmas
Some movies are willing to take an outlandish risk and hope they payoff for the viewers, and frequently they don’t work, but Last Christmas was remarkable! From the use of the George Michael classics to the delightful performance from Emilia Clarke and Henry Golding. What is not to love about this movie?
Will Ferrell was born for the role of Elf. It truly is one of the best comedic performances of all time. Most Elf-style movies don’t work because they try too hard to make it funny. With Ferrell in the role, it felt effortless. It’s a yearly must-watch, several times in fact.
- The Night Before
Look the combination of Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a Christmas movie? Toss in these guys were all best friends who celebrated Christmas Eve together as bros? AND some hilarious psychedelic drugs were involved? I was all in from go. I love this movie.
Look how cute these things are? How can you not love them? and love the movie?
What are your favorite Christmas movies of all time?
