Caitlin Carmichael stars in the upcoming movie Midnight in the Switchgrass, where she plays Tracey, a teenager who ends up being kidnapped by a serial killer. The movie has a star-studded cast with Megan Fox, Bruce Willis, and Emile Hirsch, to name a few.

When you watch the movie, you discover that the film is based on a true story of a man who went around kidnapping people and holding them hostage. So when we first meet Tracey, she is stumbling through a truck stop and taken by this man.

As the movie progresses, we meet Byron (Emile Hirsch), a cop trying to piece together that this has been an ongoing issue. Later in the film, he meets Rebecca (Megan Fox), the FBI agent on the case to find out what is going on.

The story weaves in and out of the battles both officers face chasing down the cop and showcases what Peter (our killer) is doing with Tracey. Some of the best sequences of the movie are ones in which Caitlin Carmichael shines in the role of Tracey. Although the cast is loaded with veteran actors, she shines bright in the little moments.

I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to her about playing in this role of Tracey, how she prepared for it and what it was like working next to the likes of Megan Fox and Bruce Willis. You can take a listen below.

The Verdict: B
