Friday Five, Week 12

Hope your Thanksgiving went well. We got two games on Thanksgiving Day, but in a week with no bye weeks, we still have a full slate of 13 games on Sunday as well. Below are the five that I’m watching closely as we head into the weekend, plus your full Week 12 picks! Let’s check out this week’s Friday Five!

Sunday Early Games:

Titans vs Colts Spread, Odds, Line, Over/Under, Prediction and Betting Insights for Week 12 NFL Game

Tennessee Titans (7-3) at Indianapolis Colts (7-3)
This is a battle for the AFC South. When the Colts and Titans clashed the first time, on Thursday Night Football no less, the Colts came away with the win. Since then, they’ve also topped the Packers at home. Both teams stand at 7-3, but if the Colts win again they’ll open up a lead in the division and have swept the season series. So, if the Titans want to win the division, this is a must win battle. This is arguably the game with the biggest playoff implications in Week 12.

Ravens (6-4) at Steelers (10-0)
I would have enjoyed this game on Thanksgiving night, but it got bumped to Sunday due to COVID concerns. Still, this is a battle among division rivals, and a tough matchup for the Ravens. The team is still down a number of players, has lost two straight, and travels to battle the Steelers. This has become a must win game for the Ravens, too, who are currently on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. The Steelers, meanwhile, remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL and hope to stay there while securing a season sweep over the Ravens.

Sunday Late Games:

New Orleans Saints (8-2) at Denver Broncos (4-6)
The Saints are currently atop the NFC standings, but they’re doing it without Drew Brees again. Taysom Hill looked great in his first start, beating the Falcons 24-9. Can he do it again? The Broncos, meanwhile, stifled Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins in Week 11, so the defense will be ready to face the Saints this Sunday. This could end up being a fascinating game with a lot of implications for the top of the NFC.

NFL on Twitter: ".@PatrickMahomes vs. @TomBrady. @Chiefs vs. @Buccaneers. Prepare the cannons for Week 12. 🎆… "

Kansas City Chiefs (9-1) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-4)
This could well end up being the game of the day. The Buccaneers are 7-4 but coming off a tough stretch of games that has seen them slide further away from the lead in the NFC South. The team has lost to Chicago, been swept by the Saints, and lost on Monday Night Football to the Rams. Now they host the Chiefs, a 9-1 team with designs on the top seed in the AFC. So, heading into their bye week, the Buccaneers have to try and get a win at home against Patrick Mahomes and the red hot Chiefs.

Sunday Night Game:

Green Bay Packers favored in Week 12 Lambeau tilt vs. Chicago Bears

Chicago Bears (5-5) at Green Bay Packers (7-3)
Can the Bears right the ship? The team was once 5-1, but four straight losses have them on the outside looking in when it comes to the playoffs. The Packers, meanwhile, are coming off a tough loss in overtime to the Indianapolis Colts. This is always a fun battle between long-time division rivals. If the Bears get a win, they not only climb back into the race for the playoffs, but the race for the NFC North as well.
