Week 5 of the NFL Season got underway in Dallas last night. It features another London game, continuing the International Series, as well as our first bye weeks of the season. There are no Chiefs or Panthers, but there are still 13 Sunday games in four windows. Let’s dive in and look at the five best matchups on the Sunday slate.

London Game:

Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) at Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1)
About
: This is a tale of two teams. The Eagles went 2-0 but didn’t look great doing it. They’ve been awful the past two weeks, and there’s an argument to be made they could be 0-4. Heading to London with Saquon Barkley iffy, Tank Bigsby on IR, and Lane Johnson retired won’t be doing them any favors. The Jaguars, meanwhile, have been stout outside of a rough second half in Denver. The Jaguars have traditionally looked good in London, which could have the Eagles feeling even lower after Sunday.

Early Games:

Chicago Bears (3-1) at Green Bay Packers (2-2)
About:
This is a classic NFC North matchup. The Bears, despite missing Caleb Williams, piled up two straight wins. Williams is likely out again, but the run-game is humming along strong. The Packers, meanwhile, squeaked out wins over the Jets and the Baker-less Buccaneers, but have otherwise looked unequal to the task this season. Both teams need a win and only one can get it here.

Las Vegas Raiders (3-1) at New England Patriots (2-2)
About:
Despite how their seasons went, this was a matchup won by the Raiders in the same location in Week 1 of 2025. Now, the Raiders come in with practically a new team and a new energy. They had a Week 4 stumble against the Chiefs but have looked like a potential contender. The Patriots, meanwhile, curbed their own slide with a strong performance in Buffalo last week. Both teams want a win to keep things going in the right direction. This is likely the best of the early window games.

Late Games:

San Francisco 49ers (4-0) at Seattle Seahawks (3-1)
About:
This is the best of the games on the Sunday slate and possibly of all of Week 5. The 49ers, despite injuries, are still unbeaten. The Seahawks, meanwhile, have been strong in their title defense. The matchups between these division rivals are always good, and this one has the added weight of having first place in the NFC West on the line.

Sunday Night Football:

Baltimore Ravens (3-1) at Atlanta Falcons (2-2)
About:
The Ravens have started strong under new coach Jesse Minter. But now the team figures to be without Lamar Jackson. Without him in the second half in Tennessee, the Ravens couldn’t find much in the way of offense. The Falcons, meanwhile, have been a tale of two teams. The first two weeks they looked awful. The past two weeks, in Primetime with the return of Michael Penix, Jr., they’ve looked unstoppable. Will that streak continue?
