Overall thoughts

I headed into Fightland hoping we would get a boxing series with the crime drama as the backdrop. However, it was the opposite. Although it can be bogged down with slow pacing, and predictable plot developments, I did really enjoy the show as a whole. It’s a compelling crime thriller with emotional stakes and enough action to keep things moving. Fightland lands more punches than it misses, leading to me giving it a recommendation.
