Week 8 began in Green Bay last night, but we have a solid Sunday slate with 12 games, including no International Games. So, below I take a look at the five games on the Sunday slate I’m excited to see.

Early Games:

Baltimore Ravens (4-3) at Buffalo Bills (5-1)
About:
When the Bills and Ravens play, it’s always exciting. It seems like Lamar Jackson is trending toward returning, and the Ravens are desperate for a win. They currently sit in last place in the loaded AFC North division. The Bills, fresh off a bye, are looking to remain among the best teams in the AFC. This should be fun.

Minnesota Vikings (6-0) at Detroit Lions (4-2)
About:
The Vikings are the last unbeaten team in the league. The defense has been great, but the offense is a work-in-progress. The Lions have been the opposite, where the offense has been great and the defense has been hit-or-miss. This is a big game for the NFC North, another loaded division.

Cleveland Browns (5-2) at Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)
About:
I mentioned the AFC North is loaded, and this is a battle for first place. These teams are tied atop the division, but the Browns beat the Steelers earlier this season. The Steelers have won three straight since that and can’t afford to be swept by the Browns. This should be a good matchup.

Late Games:

Los Angeles Chargers (0-6) at Los Angeles Rams (3-4)
About:
This is a battle for Los Angeles. The Rams got a big win in Week 7, while the Chargers took the week off to regroup. The Chargers are the NFL’s only winless team, and this isn’t a clearcut victory, either. This is a battle of two teams that are desperate and the question is who needs it more.

Kansas City Chiefs (5-1) at Denver Broncos (5-2)
About:
This is another battle for first place. The Chiefs beat the Broncos in Week 1 in Kansas City, and the Broncos certainly need to avoid a sweep. The Chiefs had a dreadful Week 7 in Seattle, while the Broncos played perhaps their most complete game of the season in Arizona. Now, they do battle in the prime window Sunday afternoon.
