The 2026 NFL Draft is in the books, which means Dynasty Rookie Draft season is upon us! In order to prep, it’s time to look at what we can expect when we’re going through our drafts. Below is my Rookie Top 50 in Superflex, broken down by position, to help you prepare for your rookie drafts. Players will appear by position with their overall ranking.
Quarterbacks:
- No. 2: Fernando Mendoza, Raiders
- No. 12: Ty Simpson, Rams
- No. 22: Carson Beck, Cardinals
- No. 32: Drew Allar, Steelers
- No. 35: Cade Klubnik, Jets
- No. 46: Talen Green, Browns
- No. 47: Cole Payton, Eagles
- No. 48: Garrett Nussmeier, Chiefs
About: Look, we knew it wasn’t going to be a great quarterback class. That was certainly born out. We saw two go in the First Round, two in the Third Round, then a handful that went on Day 3 of the draft. There are only eight I’d consider taking in a standard rookie draft, and mostly I’m taking speculative quarterbacks in the Third and Fourth Round of rookie drafts. Mendoza should end up the Raiders’ starter, though likely not Week 1. Simpson is the QB of the future for the Rams, which makes him a late First Round pick in this class, but it is likely at least one year or maybe longer before he plays. Beck, though I wouldn’t take him before the end of the Second Round, could have a path to starting for the Cardinals. Allar and Klubnik are backups that could be forced in but are more Third Round fliers. The rest are buried on a depth chart and are end of the draft fliers at best.
Running Backs:
- No. 1: Jeremiyah Love, Cardinals
- No. 6: Jadarian Price, Seahawks
- No. 17: Nicholas Singleton, Titans
- No. 20: Jonah Coleman, Broncos
- No. 21: Mike Washington, Jr., Raiders
- No. 23: Demond Claiborne, Vikings
- No. 26: Emmett Johnson, Chiefs
- No. 28: Kaelon Black, 49ers
- No. 31: Kaytron Allen, Commanders
- No. 36: Seth McGowan, Colts
- No. 38: Adam Randall, Ravens
- No. 40: Jam Miller, Patriots
- Roman Hemby, Raiders
- Le’Veon Moss, Dolphins
About: It was a rough draft for running backs. We saw two go in the First Round, and both of them should be taken in the top half of the First Round of rookie drafts. We saw only one running back taken Day 2 and only 10 snagged on Day 3 of the draft. I have 12 running backs in the Top 50, with most of them being late Second and Third Round selections. There are a couple players, Hemby and Moss, who were undrafted free agents that could be worth a flier at the end of your rookie draft, or a Fifth-Round selection if you go that deep. But I don’t hold out a lot of hope, as most of them are buried on the depth chart. In fact, beyond Love and Price, it’s not clear how any of these rookie running backs will fit in with their team’s rotation in 2026. If you need a running back from this rookie draft, I hope you have an early selection. Otherwise, take some fliers late and cross your fingers.
Wide Receivers:
- No. 3: Carnell Tate, Titans
- No. 4: Makai Lemon, Eagles
- No. 5: Jordan Tyson, Saints
- No. 8: Omar Cooper, Jr., Jets
- No. 9: Denzel Boston, Browns
- No. 10: K.C. Concepcion, Browns
- No. 11: Germie Bernard, Steelers
- No. 14: Antonio Williams, Commanders
- No. 15: Malachi Fields, Giants
- No. 16: De’Zhaun Stribling, 49ers
- No. 18: Zachariah Branch, Falcons
- No. 19: Chris Bell, Dolphins
- No. 25: Ted Hurst, Buccaneers
- No. 27: Chris Brazzell II, Panthers
- No. 33: Caleb Douglas, Dolphins
- No. 34: Ja’Kobi Lane, Ravens
- No. 37: Elijah Sarratt, Ravens
- No. 39: Skyler Bell, Bills
- No. 41: Zavion Thomas, Bears
- No. 45: Brenen Thompson, Chargers
- No. 49: Colbie Young, Bengals
About: The value in the draft and in your rookie, draft comes at receiver. We saw five go in the First Round, and I think you could see as many as seven go in the First Round of your rookie draft. I see a lot more as good options in the Second and Third Rounds of your rookie draft, then a few more in the Fourth Round. In my Rookie Top 50, I have 21 receivers currently slotted. There were 36 taken in the draft, so there are even more you could be targeting. And that doesn’t even consider undrafted free agents. If you need a receiver, there is time to grab players and you might even find some good deals as positional needs push other players up.
Tight Ends:
- No. 7: Kenyon Sadiq, Jets
- No. 13: Eli Stowers, Eagles
- No. 24: Max Klare, Rams
- No. 29: Oscar Delp, Saints
- No. 30: Justin Joly, Broncos
- No. 42: Sam Rousch, Bears
- No. 43: Eli Raridon, Patriots
- No. 44: Marlin Klein, Texans
- No. 50: Joe Royer, Browns
About: Tight end was an interesting position. We saw Sadiq go in the First Round, and he should be a First-Round pick in rookie drafts. We saw Stowers go to the Eagles in the Second Round, and he should be a Second-Round pick in rookie drafts. Then things got crazy. I could see personal rankings all over the board. The fact is, Stowers isn’t a lock for early production. The rest of these tight ends have some upside, but all are part of crowded rooms. Beyond Sadiq and Stowers, grabbing these guys and stashing them on your Practice Squad makes the most sense. So, I have a glut of tight end selections in the Third and Fourth rounds of rookie drafts.
