We kick off Week 16 of the NFL Season with a massive matchup on Thursday Night. The 11-3 Los Angeles Rams are at the 11-3 Seattle Seahawks. Both teams are among the best in the NFC, but one will be a division winner and the other a Wild Card. So, this game has big ramifications.
The Rams got the win when these teams first met, giving them a leg up. A season sweep, along with pulling a game ahead, would like to ensure the Rams have the NFC West title and the best track for the No. 1 seed in the NFC. The Seahawks, meanwhile, could turn the tables with a win at home.
For the Rams, Davante Adams is injured and something of a long shot to play. If he does suit up, there’s no guarantee that he gets a full target load. I would make other plans. But I do like Matthew Stafford as a low-end QB1, and Kyren Williams as a low-end RB1. I also like Blake Corum as a flex option. In the passing game, Puka Nacua is a WR1. Meanwhile, I have liked the production from Colby Parkinson. He’s a consideration for me at TE.
For the Seahawks, they’ve been a good team that’s rough for fantasy. Sam Darnold is solid if unspectacular. He’s a mid-to-low QB2 option. In the backfield, Ken Walker and Zach Charbonnet have both been frustrating. Both are flex options, but neither is a lock for good production. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is a start. He’s a WR1 and the best Seahawks to play. The rest of the pass catchers are a toss-up, but I like Rashid Shaheed as a flex option.
