Last week we got three games, including our traditional Thanksgiving games in Detroit and Dallas. Now, a week later, Dallas and Detroit are keeping it going on Thursday with a matchup tonight to kick off Week 14. And it’s a crucial game for both teams.

If the playoffs started today, both the Lions and Cowboys would miss. But both are hanging in the picture. But they had vastly different Thanksgiving experiences. The Lions lost a tough one to Green Bay, while the Cowboys topped the Chiefs to keep their hope alive. Now, both need a win again.

For the Cowboys, I like Dak Prescott as a low-end QB2. In the backfield, it’s still all about Javonte Williams. He’s an RB, providing pop on the ground and in the air. In the passing game, George Pickens is banged up but should play. He and CeeDee Lamb have been a great pairing. I like both as high-end WR2s with WR1 upside. One or the other will likely pop off, but it’s tough to predict. Jake Ferguson has been solid at tight end, he’s a low-end TE1 for me.

For the Lions, Jared Goff is a QB2. He’s better at home, and it’s not a great defense, but he is likely to be down a weapon. The best Lion to play is Jahmyr Gibbs, who is an RB1 with massive upside. The Lions have been mixing in more David Montgomery, so he’s a low-end RB2 for me. I think he could get some Red Zone carries. In the passing game, Amon-Ra St. Brown is hurt and hasn’t been practicing. He’s not likely to play. I like Jameson Williams as a WR2 with upside. It’s hard to trust any other passing game weapon.

Now, on to the Week 14 picks.
