Week 11 of the NFL Season comes to a close tonight in Las Vegas. The Raiders, coming off a putrid game on Thursday night in Week 10, play host to the Cowboys. The Cowboys were off in Week 10 but lost on Monday night in Week 9. I’ll have a full preview of the game below, but first some takeaways from the rest of Week 11.

The Rams lead the West

How will the NFC West be won? We’re likely a long way from knowing since three teams have seven or more wins after 11 weeks. But the Rams moved a step closer with a huge home win over the Seahawks. It wasn’t pretty, but the Rams are 8-2 and in the driver’s seat in the NFC West heading down the stretch.

A statement win in Buffalo

The Bills haven’t had a great season. After getting walked over in Miami in Week 10, the Bills faced a tough challenge against the Buccaneers in Week 11. They came out and put up 44 points, winning by double-digits at home. It was a good win for the Bills, who want to show that it’s not over in the AFC East just yet!

The AFC West goes through Denver

The Broncos have had a great season. They sat at 8-2 coming into the season. And yet, it hasn’t been pretty. The question was whether they were for real. A huge Week 11 win at home against the Chiefs, dropping Patrick Mahomes and company to 5-5, answers a lot of questions. That they did it without Patrick Surtain and Alex Singleton is just icing on the cake. The Broncos are 9-2 and in the driver’s seat in the AFC West.

And now, on to Monday night’s game.

Dallas Cowboys (3-5-1) at Las Vegas Raiders (2-7)

Since then, the Cowboys have had some big highs and lows. The team made a pair of trades to fix the defense. But the Cowboys also had Marshawn Kneeland pass away. This is their first game since, which could give it some extra energy.

For the Cowboys, Dak Prescott is a QB1. I also like CeeDee Lamb as a WR1 and Javonte Williams as an RB2 with upside. George Pickens is a WR2 with upside and Jake Ferguson is a TE1. In short, start your Cowboys!

For the Raiders, this could be a get right game. I’m not going crazy, but I like Geno Smith as a QB2 option. I like Ashton Jeanty as an RB2 option, too. In the passing game, Tyler Lockett might be the best receiver option. He’s a flex for me. But Brock Bowers is a TE1 and possibly the best Raider to play.

I’m taking the Cowboys.
