Week 6 of the NFL season gets going Thursday night with a battle in the NFC East. The Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their first loss of the season, travel to New York to battle Jaxson Dart and the New York Giants. It should be an interesting matchup with big divisional ramifications.
For the Eagles, Jalen Hurts is a low-end QB1. I still also like Saquon Barkley as a low-end RB1 thanks to his prowess in the receiving game. I also think he could be motivated to show out against his former team. In the passing game, you have to play A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, but it’s hard to trust them. They’re in the WR2/WR3 range for me. Dallas Goedert is a TE2 with upside.
For the Giants, Malik Nabers is on IR and now Darius Slayton is out. That leaves them short-handed. Jaxson Dart looked good in his first start but struggled at times in New Orleans. Now, he’s on a short week against the Eagles. He’s a low-end QB2. I like Cam Skattebo in the backfield as an RB2. He gets volume and hopefully will be more productive.
The passing game for the Giants is a bit of a question. Wan’Dale Robinson at receiver and Theo Johnson at tight end seemed the most reliable for Dart in Week 5. I have Robinson as a WR3 and Johnson as a TE2. Both have upside.
Now, on to the Week 6 picks.
