For the second week in a row, we get a double-header to end the week on Monday Night Football. And, once again, we have a winless team seeking its first victory and an undefeated team seeking to stay there. That’s plenty to like about this double-header, and I’ll preview the games below. But first, let’s consider what else we learned from Week 4.

The Jaguars are in trouble

The Jaguars are the league’s only 0-4 team. It’s possible the Titans will join them, but the Jaguars could end up as the only winless team in the league. That’s not a great sign. The offense isn’t producing enough, and the defense hasn’t been able to hold up. Yes, the Jaguars played better in Week 4, losing by only four points, but it’s been a dreadful start to the season that doesn’t appear likely to improve any time soon.

The Vikings are looking tough!

How good would Sam Darnold be? Would it be a lost season for the Vikings? Will Kevin O’Connell be on the hot seat? All those pre-season questions seem laughable at this point, as the Vikings are now a perfect 4-0. They’re one of only two teams that has four wins in four weeks, and they’re by far the most surprising. Sunday’s win was another feather in the cap of Darnold and O’Connell, scoring 31 points and beating the Packers in Green Bay. It’s hard not to root for this loveable Vikings team.

The Chiefs are still the Chiefs

Have they gotten some good break? Yes. Have the games been close? Yes. Is it possible they’ve gotten some favorable calls? Yes. But the Chiefs are still 4-0, overcoming injuries and taking the best shots from every team every week. They lost their best receiver—Rashee Rice—on Sunday and still managed a win in Los Angeles against the Chargers. The Chiefs are here to remind us they’re still the champs and the road to a Super Bowl goes through Kansas City.

And now, on to the Monday night games.

Tennessee Titans (0-3) at Miami Dolphins (1-2)

This probably looked like a good game when it was scheduled, but now both of these teams are struggling. The Titans are one of only two winless teams, with second-year passer Will Levis struggling with turnovers. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are on to their fourth quarterback in as many games as Tyler Huntley starts Monday night.

For the Titans, it’s tough to trust anyone. If I was forced to play someone, I have Tony Pollard in RB3/flex range and DeAndre Hopkins is probably the safest receiver choice while Calvin Ridley has the most upside. I have Levis as a QB3, hopefully you have better options. For the Dolphins, I have Huntley as a QB3 also, but I’m hoping to see Tyreek Hill in the WR2 range. Jaylen Waddle is a WR3/4, while I still like De’Von Achane as an RB2.

I’m taking the Dolphins in an ugly one.

Seattle Seahawks (3-0) at Detroit Lions (2-1)

This is the better matchup on Monday night. Both teams have played well, and this could easily have been a matchup of unbeatens, but the Lions fell to the Buccaneers in Week 2. I expect this to be a fun and competitive game, too.

For the Seahawks, I like Geno Smith as a QB2 and Kenneth Walker as an RB2. I don’t mind Zach Charbonnet as a deep league flex option. Among the receivers, D.K. Metcalf is still a WR2 for me with the most upside. I like Jaxon Smith-Njigba, but his usage has varied. He’s a boom-or-bust WR3, while Tyler Lockett is a low-end WR3/4. Noah Fant has a good Week 3, but he’s still a TE2 for me.

For the Lions, I like Jared Goff as a top-end QB2 at home. I also like Jahmyr Gibbs in RB1 range and David Montgomery in RB2 range. Among receivers, Amon-Ra St. Brown is still the top target. He’s a WR1 for me. Jameson Williams had a big Week 1 and has kind of disappeared since. He’s a boom-or-bust WR4 for me. Sam LaPorta is cleared and will go, but he hasn’t been as robust this season. He’s a low-end TE1 for me.

I’m taking the Lions at home.
