There are just three weeks left in the NFL Season, and things are getting tense as teams make a final push for the playoffs. It’s likely tense if you’re still alive in fantasy, too, with just a couple games left before the title. Every game counts for the teams and for fantasy players.
That gives an extra wrinkle to our penultimate Thursday football game of the season. The New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams are set to clash. Both teams are 7-7 and both are in the thick of the playoff race. Both teams offer important pieces for fantasy teams making a final push as well.
For the visiting Saints the big question is the health of receiver Chris Olave. He missed Week 15 and those playing for a title would surely love to have him in a lineup. If he’s active, he’s a WR2 for me. I’m also bullish on Alvin Kamara, who is a Top 24 option at RB that has Top 12 potential. Derek Carr is more of a low-end QB2 option. There are no other Saints I’m trusting in the playoffs.
For the Rams, Matthew Stafford has been hot of late and has QB1 appeal. He’s joined in the backfield by Kyren Williams, who is easily a Top 12 option at running back. Among receivers, I’m playing both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. Both are WR2s for me that have WR1 upside. If you’re stretched thin at tight end, Tyler Higbee is an option. I like him better as a TE2, but he has some upside.
