We’ve reached what is likely the final week of the fantasy regular season for most leagues. We only have two teams on a bye this week, which is good. But there are a lot of injuries, so every game counts. And we start off with a doozy as the New England Patriots travel to battle the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Both teams are on to a different starting quarterback. The 2-10 Patriots turned to Bailey Zappe looking for a spark. The 7-5 Pittsburgh Steelers are on to Mitch Trubisky because Kenny Pickett is injured. Either way, it’s a matchup that doesn’t figure to yield a lot of points on the field or in your fantasy lineups.

For the Patriots, Rhamondre Stevenson has an ankle injury and is expected to miss the game. That really limits the options. Zappe is a QB3 for me, while Ezekiel Elliott figures to handle the bulk of the backfield work. Still, he’s an RB3 for me. There are no Patriots’ pass catchers that I trust.

For the Steelers, Mitch Trubisky is a low, low-end QB2. Hopefully you have better options. In the backfield Najee Harris has looked better since Matt Canada left. He’s an RB3, as is Jaylen Warren. Among pass catchers, I still like Pat Freiermuth as a low-end TE1. Diontae Johnson and George Pickers are the top receiving options. I trust Johnson the most, but as a WR3. Pickens is a more of a boom-or-bust WR4 for me.

Now, on to the Week 14 picks.
