For our first game of Week 13 we get an interesting matchup of contenders in the NFC as the Seahawks travel to battle the Cowboys. Both teams played last Thursday, so they’ll come in with a full week of rest. Both are in the Wild Card race, and both are chasing teams atop their own divisions. That gives this one plenty of stakes.
The Seahawks are 6-5 and need wins to remain in the playoff picture. The Cowboys are 8-3 and look like one of the contenders in the NFC. But the Cowboys haven’t beaten a team with a winning record so far in 2023. A win tonight would change that.
For fantasy, the Seahawks are tracking to be without Ken Walker yet again. That puts the load on Zach Charbonnet. He’s an RB2 for me. Geno Smith has been up-and-down some this season, putting him in the mid-range QB2 territory for me even with the current QB landscape. Among the receivers, D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba have all been involved. Metcalf is the one I like best, but all of them have deep league start appeal. I can’t say the same for Noah Fant at TE. He’s a desperation play at best.
For the Cowboys, I like Dak Prescott as a QB1 and CeeDee Lamb as a Top 3 option at WR. Tony Pollard is the lead back and still has RB2 appeal. I also like Jake Ferguson at tight end as a TE1 option. Among the rest of the Cowboys, Brandin Cooks has been hot of late. He’s a flex option for me.
And now, for the Week 13 picks.
