This week before Thanksgiving kicks off with an epic battle on Thursday night. We’ve seen some good games and some bad matchups on TNF so far in 2023, but this might be the best and most meaningful matchup yet. The Bengals and Ravens are division rivals who both have designs on the playoffs. Both are coming off tough losses and looking to get back on track.

The Ravens have been hot most of the season but suffered a big loss to the Browns on Sunday. Now, just a few days later, they host a Bengals team coming off its own emotional loss. The Bengals can ill-afford another loss, while the Ravens are in need of a win to maintain their hold on the AFC North.

For fantasy, I’m watching practice reports. Tee Higgins is out again tonight. Ja’Marr Chase is a WR1, while Tyler Boyd is a more appealing flex option. Joe Burrow is a QB1 while Joe Mixon is still a play, but I have him as an RB2 going against a tough Ravens’ defense.

For the Ravens, Lamar Jackson has had to do a lot. He’s a QB1, while Mark Andrews is a TE1. Among receivers, Odell Beckham, Jr. sat out practice Tuesday, but he’s been a big play guy of late. He’s a boom-or-bust flex option, while Zay Flowers is a low-end WR2. Among running backs, I still like Gus Edwards the best as an RB3. Keaton Mitchell has big play ability and is a boom-or-bust flex option.
