Fifteen straight games. That’s the number of times that the Chiefs have beaten the Broncos in this streak. The last time Denver won, Peyton Manning was the quarterback and Gary Kubiak was the Broncos’ head coach. That’s domination. It’s been nearly a decade since the Broncos beat their rivals.
And it’s not going to change on Thursday night. Sorry to give away one of my picks, but I’m definitely not picking the 1-4 dumpster fire that is Denver. I simply hope they beat the point spread of 10.5.
For fantasy, the good news for Denver is that Javonte Williams isn’t on the injury report. I have him as an RB3/Flex, as I suspect he’ll be splitting with Jaleel McLaughlin and Samaje Perine. Russell Wilson has been a low-end QB1 this season and is likely in the QB11-16 range. Among receivers, it’s been hard to count on any of them, but I still like Courtland Sutton as a WR3 and Jerry Jeudy as a WR3/4.
For the Chiefs, you’re starting Patrick Mahomes, a QB1, and Isaih Pacheco, a solid RB2. Travis Kelce has an ankle injury, but he logged some practice and is listed as questionable. If he plays, I’m starting him. Among receivers, it’s still hard to trust anyone but if I’m taking a shot, it’s on Rashee Rice.
