If you’ve been missing the tonal roll-out for this series it’s time to take a look. The odds are stacked against this as an adaptation of anime with a few questionable VFX shots, but so far leads John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine are faithful and the tone is full on in a way that gives hope that the team creating the series understands its appeal:

With showrunner André Nemec as showrunner leading directors Alex Garcia Lopez, and Michael Katleman who have worked on “Daredevil,” “The Witcher,” and other impressive titles, “Cowboy Bebop” is executive produced by Midnight Radio, Tomorrow Studios, Sunrise Inc., and Tim Coddington, Tetsu Fujimura, Michael Katleman, Matthew Weinberg, and Christopher Yost. Additionally, original anime series director Shinichirō Watanabe is involved as a consultant and original composer Yoko Kanno (as heard in the videos above) has returned. Netflix will this starting November 19th, 2021!
