Who doesn’t love franchises? I know that I do. Even more so, when you are watching movie franchises or even specific genres, you almost start to wonder where they rank among the other films. Because of this, I have decided to take a deep dive into franchises, genres, and even reality TV shows and rank them in the order of which I prefer them.
Of course, rankings spark conversation because often times one person’s rankings vary from another person’s rankings. Although that may be the case, don’t be throwing stones at these rankings; maybe discuss where you think I may have it wrong. I love the idea of great conversation, especially in the film and TV space. So let’s dive into the rankings and sound off in the comments.
‘Toy Story’ Movies Ranked
4. Toy Story 3
With their beloved Andy preparing to leave for college, Woody (Kim Seung-jun), Buzz Lightyear (Park Il), Jessie (Ham Soo-jeong), and the rest of the toys find themselves headed for the attic but mistakenly wind up on the curb with the trash. Woody’s quick thinking saves the gang, but all but Woody end up being donated to a day-care center. Unfortunately, the uncontrollable kids do not play nice, so Woody and the gang make plans for a great escape.
3. Toy Story 2
Woody (Ash Brannon) is stolen from his home by toy dealer Al McWhiggin (Doug Chamberlain), leaving Buzz Lightyear (John Lasseter) and the rest of the gang to try to rescue him.
2. Toy Story
Woody (Tom Hanks), a good-hearted cowboy doll who belongs to a young boy named Andy (John Morris), sees his position as Andy’s favorite toy jeopardized when his parents buy him a Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) action figure. Even worse, the arrogant Buzz thinks he’s a real spaceman on a mission to return to his home planet. When Andy’s family moves to a new house, Woody and Buzz must escape the clutches of maladjusted neighbor Sid Phillips (Erik von Detten) and reunite with their boy.
- Toy Story 4
Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo discuss the old days, they soon start to realize that they’re worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy.
