2025 was a HUGE year for comedian Chloe Radcliffe. She was named one of 15 Comedians ready to break out in 2025 by Deadline, part of Vulture’s Comedians You Should and Will Know, and it was capped off with acting in Bradley Cooper’s Is This Thing On?. Radcliffe is on the verge of releasing her first-ever stand-up comedy special. I had the pleasure of sitting down with her to talk about working with Bradley Cooper, her stand-up work, and of course the upcoming special. 

There are many facets of stand-up comedy that have always been intriguing to me. How Bradley Cooper explore that within Is This Thing On? was truly incredible to see. But from a comedian’s standpoint, I wanted to pick Radcliffe’s brain on how she thought the film represented comedy. Another part that I loved unpacking is the way jokes come about. Obviously, it is different for each comedian, so hearing Radcliffe dive into that was great. Lastly, the concept or idea of groundwork has been on the rise, higher than ever. Radcliffe’s thoughts on it all are one of the best explanations of it I’ve ever heard.
