Liamani Segura is an actress, singer, songwriter and music video editor. Dear Little Me is a fantastic album. Having only heard Liamani sing on High School Musical before discovering her more recent songs, it’s clear that her voice has matured over the years. Not only did Liamani sing the songs, but she also wrote them. The album is pop and soft pop. It lasts for roughly 20 minutes and has 6 songs throughout.

Tracklist

  1. Sunkissed
  2. True Love
  3. Hanging by a Thread
  4. Summer Somewhere
  5. Without You
  6. Dear Little Me

Dear Little Me is clever with its song choices and layout. The album starts off with slower, calming soft tracks. I liked how it begins with the gentle sound of birds at the start. As the songs progress and move forward, the tone gradually shifts. The songs become more upbeat, with livelier rhythms and brighter instrumentals. The transition between the calm and energetic tracks feels natural and reminds me slightly of a sunrise. Liamani’s voice ties it all together. Liamani has a beautiful, soft, calming voice that also feels very gentle, warm, and soothing. There’s a gentle strength in her delivery, and her vocals are very strong despite being soft, carrying lots of emotion and power.

The songs all have stories or meanings to them. I believe lots of the time the album feels sort of like a diary or letter to Liamani herself, and it’s like we are listening to her thoughts and ideas about things, or she is talking to herself. This was just my take on some of her songs, so I could be wrong. Each song is vastly different from the other, which I thought was a great choice. With different sounds and vocal styles, this made the album feel unique, but Liamani’s voice always stays calming. My favourite songs were Summer Somewhere, Hanging by a Thread, and Without You. Dear Little Me, which is also the name of the album, felt the most emotional.

Overall, Dear Little Me is a beautiful album, and Liamani’s voice ties it all together with her soft, calming vocals that feel gentle, yet carry a lot of emotion. The songs are great, with good instrumentals and stories or themes in the lyrics. The album is a must-listen for old and new fans, or for people who just want a great soft pop music experience that’s easygoing and calming.

Christmas I Won’t Forget – Single Review

Christmas I Won’t Forget is a wonderful Christmas song. I found there to be lots of layers to the instrumental, all subtle but slowly building on each other, with the jingle sound staying consistent throughout. Liamani’s voice is still soft and calming, and the song almost feels like a gentle hug. It also has a personal touch, as Liamani is singing about her Christmas memories. Liamani’s voice shines beautifully here. Her vocals are soft, calming, and filled with emotion, wrapping around the listener like a gentle hug. There’s something incredibly soothing about the way she sings — it feels heartfelt, as though she’s sharing a cherished memory directly with you. What makes this song so great is how personal it feels. You can tell it comes from a place of love and genuine memories from her own Christmas experiences. As Liamani sings about her holiday memories, many listeners will likely relate and be reminded of their own Christmas memories, making the song feel more special for some listeners.

Liamani will be releasing more music in the future and is also going to be one of the lead roles in two upcoming Disney films: Descendants: Wicked Wonderland and Camp Rock 3 🎸 Dear Little Me is out now and Christmas I Won’t Forget is out now!
