Valiant One follows a group of army people who are in South Korea, and they get into a helicopter crash and land in North Korea. Together, they must find a way to get back to South Korea without being caught, leading them to a dangerous mission.

Valiant One is a gripping action movie that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats with its tense and exciting story. The film builds suspense, leaving audiences guessing until the very end whether the characters will survive their Mission. Chase Stokes delivers a fantastic performance as Edward. He is likable and calm, which is rare for a war film to have the lead character never shout or get angry.

This warmed me to Edward, and I liked him more than if he was a strict military character. Chase’s portrayal adds a layer of depth, making him engaging to watch. I also enjoyed seeing him play a different type of role than usual. Lana Condor and the rest of the cast also shine and have great chemistry together.

Unfortunately, the film had a smaller budget, sometimes affecting certain action scenes that could have been enhanced. Additionally, the film ended abruptly and was occasionally too dark, making it difficult to see faces. I think it would have improved the plot if they had added a few more scenes to the ending.

Overall, Valiant One is a film worth watching. It has great action scenes, a tense story, and a strong cast. 3.5 stars ⭐️
