We’ve made it to Thanksgiving week. Our reward is a trio of games to help fill our holiday. Below is my take on the three games this Thanksgiving along with my Week 13 picks. Let’s dive in!

Chicago Bears (4-7) at Detroit Lions (10-1)

The Bears had a rough homestand, going 0-3 despite changing Offensive Coordinators. They also lost a pair of heart-breaking division games at the last minute. This Thanksgiving, they travel to Detroit to battle the red-hot Lions. That’s not much to celebrate for Bears fans.

For the Bears, Caleb Williams is a QB2 for me and D’Andre Swift is a low-end RB2 for me. Among receivers, I still like D.J. Moore the best. He’s a low-end WR2 this week. Rome Odunze is a WR4/Flex option, as is Keenan Allen. Cole Kmet is a boom-or-bust TE2.

For the Lions, Jared Goff is a low-end QB1. I like his talent, but he doesn’t always have to throw that much. I like Amon-Ra St. Brown as a WR1, and Jameson Williams as a flex option. Sam LaPorta hasn’t had the same pop in 2024 as his rookie year, he’s a TE2 with upside. The big options here are Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, who are both on fire. I like both as a Top 12 option at RB.

New York Giants (2-9) at Dallas Cowboys (4-7)

This rivalry game in the NFC East is the weakest of our options on Thanksgiving day. The Giants and the Cowboys have had struggles this season, and neither is a top team heading into this clash. This could be ugly.

For the Giants, Tommy DeVito is a QB3 and really shouldn’t be in your lineup. He’s banged up and Drew Lock could start or play. Either way, I’m not taking a flier on a Giants’ QB. I like Tyrone Tracey as a low-end RB2 and Malik Nabers as a WR3. The only other Giant I’d consider for my lineup this week is Wan’Dale Robinson. He’s a low-end flex option as I don’t believe in the Giants’ pass offense right now.

For the Cowboys, Cooper Rush is a QB3 for me this week, too. With all 32 teams in action, he’s not a Top 24 option for me. I do still believe in CeeDee Lamb, who is a start at receiver. Rico Dowdle has had his moments, so he’s a strong RB3/Flex consideration. At tight end, Jake Fegurson is out again. That could open things for Luke Schoonmaker, but he’s just a TE2 for me.

Miami Dolphins (5-6) at Green Bay Packers (8-3)

This might be the best of the Thanksgiving Day games. This one pits a Dolphins team that’s heating up and chasing a playoff berth against a Packers team that’s quietly been very good the past month. This one’s in Green Bay and should be a perfect cap on the night.

For the Dolphins, Tua Tagovailoa is a QB2 for me. At receiver, Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle have talent, but both have been somewhat inconsistent. I have Hill as a low-end WR2 and Waddle as a WR3. Jonnu Smith has been hot at tight end and is a low-end TE1 for me. In the backfield, De’Von Achane is an RB2 with upside.

For the Packers, Josh Jacobs has been hot. He’s an RB1 for me this week and is the engine driving the Packers’ offense. Jordan Love has been solid and is a QB2 option. In the passing game, it’s hard to pin down which Packers’ pass catcher will be hot. Tucker Kraft is a low-end TE1, while Jayden Reed is a low-end WR2 for me. Christian Watson is a boom-or-bust WR3, and Romeo Doubs is out this week.

Now, on to the Week 13 picks.
