If you are like me, I am SUPER excited that we are getting the return of the Beavis and Butt-Head. First, it was the film Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, and now we are getting a weekly series. The first two episodes will debut on Paramount+ on August 4th.
Episode 1:
The first episode kicked off with two girls getting ready to do an escape room. But, they couldn’t do it alone and were trying to find two more people to do it with them. Enter Beavis and Butt-Head, who were outside on the sidewalk doing nothing. The ladies asked if they were smart and said they were, HAHA.
As they prepare for the Escape Room, they zig when they were supposed to zag and land in the bathroom and think they are trapped. While the duo is in the toilet, the ladies are approached by two other men looking to pair up to do the Escape Room. Next, Butt-head uses a plunger to open the door (the door says pull, but they keep pushing it).
The owner went scrambling because of the flood, and Beavis and Butt-Head see the open door and thought they had completed the escape room. When they walk outside, they see the girls leaving with the other two guys when Butt-Head says he has to use the restroom. They again zag instead of zig, and we see the owner walking in on Butt-Head taking a dump in the tomb.
In part two of the episode, Beavis meets his hero, Fire, and when he does, Fire tells him that he wants him to go to the school and run around the track four times, which would be one mile. Beavis returns to say to him that he did as he commanded. Next, Fire tells Beavis to clean up the streets because they are dirty. As the episode continued, Fire wanted Beavis to write a four-page letter, but instead, Beavis went inside and told the place that there was a fire in the trash can, which they ended up putting out. Beavis realized meeting our heroes doesn’t always go as planned.
The infamous commercials within the episodes have returned. These were hilarious with them watching TikTok videos, music videos, and more. I would watch an entire series of these two, watching videos and making fun of them.
Overall
Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head return with a banger. I was a much bigger fan of the Escape Room portion of the episode, which had me in tears laughing the entire time, but the Fire portion was still a ton of fun. If you are a fan of the duo like me, you will definitely find yourself laughing throughout the first episode.
