Netflix tried something that felt new without necessarily doing anything new. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that rating-restrictions aren’t always as clear as with movies released in theaters, which has allowed for a few chills and shocking moments across this series. It’s been nice feeling like there’s something special during this blockbuster season that feels elevated (in terms of excitement) above releases that have been delayed or repurposed for streaming from their initially planned releases.
Here it is, with the same drive and featuring characters who have fought through this ‘event’ to get here, the last trailer focused on the conclusion to this story:
Starring Sadie Sink, Emily Rudd, Kiana Madeira, McCabe Slye, Ashley Zuckerman, Jordana Spiro, Benjamin Flores Jr., Gillian Jacobs, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Olivia Scott Welch, Jeremy Ford, and Jordyn DiNatale, “Fear Street” has been and is directed by Leigh Janiak, while the screenplay is by Phil Graziadei and Leigh Janiak. Netflix will release “Fear Street Part Three: 1666” on July 16th.
