Now here comes a film told through animation for the sake of supporting absolute, unrestrained creativity. There’s a loose understanding of mythical creatures, lost to time, that seem to be used to support a story that seems to be about the relationship between man and myth through dreams, with the characters having to contemplate allowing creatures to be exposed through the confines of a zoo.

Lake Bell, Michael Cera, Alex Karpovsky, Zoe Kazan, Louisa Krause, Angeliki Papoulia, Thomas Jay Ryan, Peter Stormare, and Grace Zabriskie round out the voice cast while the movie is both written and directed by Dash Shaw and Produced by Tyler Davidson, Kyle Martin, Jane Samborski, and Bill Way. This first premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and will be released in the US on August 20th, 2021.
