Shudder has been one of the most welcome streaming platforms for this horror fan and their newly-announced French feature that seems to be a supernatural/demonic horror about a woman, ‘Amelie,’who summons a demon (reportedly based on a Morrocan folk legend) to take revenge on an ex.

This stars Mathilde Lamusse, Samarcande Saadi, and Suzy Bemba and is directed by a French pair of directors building a voice in horror cinema:  Alexandre Bustillo and Julien Maury.

Shudder will debut ‘Kandisha’ streaming on Shudder starting on July 22nd, 2021. The images feel a bit dark to me, but still it seems exciting and horrific through practical scares. Let us know your thoughts below!
