Jumanji Sequel 

Jumaji has undoubtedly become one of the most successful franchises. The first movie of this sequel was released in 1996 which remains as a cult classic till date. Next, in 2015 there was another sequel, which was not quite popular. However, the 2017 sequel and the 2019 sequel gained popularity and were a hit at the box office. We are expecting the crew back on December 11. Our fantastic four (Dwanye Johnson, Karen Gillian, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart) are back with another adventure. Also we shall expect to see Nick Jonas, Alex Wolff, Awkwafina, and many more on screen this year. It is assumed that like the previous films our crew will get stuck inside the video game world ‘Jumanji’; the rest of the plot remains a mystery. We’ll just have to sit tight until the big reveal!

The Super Mario Galaxy Movie

One of the exciting upcoming releases of 2026 is the Super Mario Galaxy Movie. The first movie was released in the year 2023 and was a huge success, making over 1 billion dollars. The movie gained more audience, resulting in a massive hit. It is believed that the movie is in good hands; the creators are actually fans of the game, thus we shall expect much details with better elements of surprises. Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew

Narnia is one of the most popular series inspired by a novel written by the well-known C.S. Lewis. Under this franchise there are various movies and each one is quite successful. However, the first part “ The Chronicles of Narnia” is the most loved one out of all the three films in the franchise. Now, Netflix decided to continue the sequel, adapting to the 1955 novel The Magician’s Nephew. This film is recognized as the prequel for all the other parts. However, this is the last book written by the author where we could find how Aslan created Narnia. Notably, Netflix allocated a 200 million dollar budget for this project. Also, all your favourite celebrities will be found again, including Emma  Mackey, Carey Mulligan, and more. 

The Odyssey

The Odyssey will be definitely a talk of the town upon its release as it is an innovation by Christopher Nolan. This is evident after his phenomenal movie, Oppenheimer. The film won the Best Picture at the Academy Awards. In 2026, Nolan is entering the fantasy world, adapting the ancient epic of Homer, “The Odyssey”. The plot depicts a Greek king’s journey home to reunite with his wife after the Trojan war. As Nolan’s creation, this film has high hopes from the audience’s side. Coming to the cast, once again, Nolan did a great job; Tom Halland acts as the main lead and Anne Hathaway is discovered to be doing the role of Penelope and much more is yet to come. 

The Hunger Games: Sunrise On The Reaping

If you are a fantasy lover, you’ll definitely know about the Hunger Games franchise. The novel version is too popular among the audience, while the four movie sequels are a hit in the box office. We thought the team was already done with the sequel, but later a prequel was released in the name of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which was also a huge success too. Now, we are getting another prequel in Sunrise and the Reaping, inspired by the recent novel. The plot focuses on the 50th Hunger Game, which happened 24 years before the main plot, with the protagonist of the story being a younger self. The trailer seems splendid and promising while the casting is everything to rave about. Joseph Zada is performing the role of Haymith and Elle Fanning is found to be the young Effie Trinket.
