Celebrity wedding-themed hashtags on social media increased by 150% following major engagement announcements in 2025. A new study by JJ’s House, an online dress shop, set out to identify the most anticipated celebrity weddings of 2026.

The study looked at online interest, comparing monthly Google searches about celebrity engagements and marriages, as well as the number of Instagram followers of each celebrity couple and engagement on social media. The ranking also includes relationship length and the engagement date.

The most anticipated celebrity wedding is Adele and Rich Paul’s ceremony, with nearly 100K people looking up information about it online in less than a month since the announcement. The engagement news was shared on August 9th, 2025, to their collective 60M followers. Out of the pair, Adele has a much bigger audience, with 59.9M fans subscribed to her account. Rich Paul has a much smaller reach, with only 632K followers.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce come in second, standing out with the most recent engagement on the list. In less than a month, the couple’s wedding ceremony had already been looked up 33.7K times, and the Instagram post with the news received over 36 million likes. The couple has been together for two years and shares a combined following of 300M on Instagram.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s ceremony takes third place among the most anticipated celebrity weddings of 2026, with nearly 11K people looking up their marriage in just one month. Their December 2024 engagement drew major attention from 420M fans, following them on Instagram, and 417 million of those belong to Selena.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez follow in fourth place, standing out as the most followed couple on Instagram. Cristiano alone has 663M followers, more than any other celebrity, but together with his fiancée, they reach 733.5M, nearly 200M more than any other couple. Many fans await the wedding, with more than 2.5K monthly searches for the couple’s engagement.

Candice King and Steven Krueger’s wedding rounds out the top five 2026 most anticipated marriages, with 1.3K people turning to the Internet for news and updates. The engagement was announced on May 14th, 2025, to Candice’s 11.3M Instagram followers.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner hold sixth place, with just over 1K people interested in the wedding. Similar to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, they have been together for two years and got engaged in December 2024. Across both of the couple’s Instagrams, they share 88.5M followers.

Kelly Osbourne and Sid Wilson’s engagement earns seventh place for the most anticipated celebrity weddings taking place in 2026. Their engagement was announced in July 2025 and attracts attention online, with 760 monthly lookups. The engagement video was shared with Kelly’s 4.1M followers and got over 826K likes.

Zac Brown and Kendra Scott come in eighth place, with 540 people wanting to know more about wedding news. The pair have been together the shortest, just nine months, and announced their marriage in the summer of 2025.

DK Metcalf and Normani rank ninth, with news about their wedding being looked up 360 times each month. The couple has been together for three years and got engaged on March 25th, 2025. The couple is also popular on social media: DK has 1.8 million followers, while Normani shares posts with an audience of 6.8M.

Simu Liu and Allison’s engagement comes in tenth, finishing off the list of the most anticipated 2026 celebrity weddings, with 245 monthly searches. They got engaged in May 2025, three days before Candice King and Steven Krueger, and share a combined 3.84M followers.
