The Voice has returned for its 27th season. Adam Levine returned to the judge’s table, joining previous judges John Legend, last year’s winning judge Michael Bublé, and new judge Kelsea Ballerini. The night saw many incredible performances, including Jadyn Cree. She wowed the judges with her performance, getting two judges to turn and a massive compliment from one who didn’t turn. I enjoyed chatting with Cree, who shared everything about her experience.

Cree isn’t unfamiliar with The Voice stage as she saw her father, Bryan Olesen, compete in Season 25. Her father inspired her to enter the world of singing, and she has started to form her own path. Cree wanted to do so by entering The Voice stage and winning over the world along the way. If you watch Cree’s performance, you can’t help but get the Billie Eilish vibes from her (someone she looks up to), and her performance “Still Into You” was one of my favorites of the night.

In her audition, Cree sang Paramore’s “Still Into You,” which led judges Michael Bublé and Kelsea Ballerini to turn around and vie for her to join their team. We talked about the performance, her dad’s influence, and why she picked the judge, she did.
