The final day of LIV Golf Nashville started with Tyrrell Hatton three shots ahead of John Catlin and four shots ahead of Bryson DeChambeau. Hatton cruised throughout the day, heading into his final five holes with a six-shot lead, and took home his first individual win in over three years.
LIV Golf made its first appearance in Nashville, which resulted in the largest turnout in LIV Golf History (stateside), with over 40 thousand people showing up to see Bryson DeChambeau and the crew hit the course in College Grove for the first time. The crowd was electric all weekend, especially with folks lining up to see DeChambeau fresh off his U.S. Open win tee off at every hole.
My experience at LIV Golf Nashville was nothing short of remarkable. I would highly recommend checking out one of these events if you can. The tour promotes “Golf, but Louder,” and they mean as it feels much more like a laid-back party with a golf tournament thrown right in the middle of it. On top of that, you have to experience the Party at 15, where you get to watch your favorite golfers walk up to the tee to their favorite walk-up songs; the vibes were electric.

As I said heading into Sunday, Tyrrell Hatton had a three-stroke lead over John Catlin and Bryson DeChambeau, John Rahm four strokes back, but that didn’t stop Hatton from shooting a final round 65 for a six-shot win over Majesticks GC’s Sam Horsefield. The six-shot win tied him for the second-largest victory in LIV Golf history, and his 19-under tied him for the second-lowest score.
Hatton about his big win: “Having not won for 3-1/2 years, you wonder if you’d be able to do it again in some way,” said Hatton, who was never seriously threatened in the final round. “It’s a pretty special feeling to win again.”
Hatton’s strong shooting, along with fellow Legion XIII teammates Kieran Vincent, Caleb Surratt, and team captain Jon Rahm, collectively shot 40 under, leading to them winning the team championship. Crushers GC and Torque GC finished second and third in the standings.
