This was another awesome chance to speak with the directors (Keri Pickett and Dawn Mikkelson) and one subject (Jennifer Weir) of a particularly excellent documentary about the formation of an all-female Taiko-Drumming performance and movement. This was cathartic and gripping to watch. After so much loss and trudging through a pandemic and into conflict after conflict, this stands as a story of people who draw a hard line for peace, art, creation, and allowing voices to be heard.
